- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 teaspoon baking powder
- 1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
- 1/4 teaspoon ground nutmeg
- 1/4 teaspoon ground cloves
- 1/4 teaspoon ground allspice
- 1/4 teaspoon ground cardamom
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 cup butter, softened
- 1 cup packed light brown sugar
- 1 egg
- 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
- 1 cup chopped walnuts
- 1 cup raisins
- 1/2 cup finely chopped almonds
- 1/2 cup finely chopped hazelnuts
Directions
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Line baking sheets with parchment paper.
- In a medium bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder, cinnamon, nutmeg, cloves, allspice, cardamom, and salt.
- In a large bowl, beat butter and sugar until light and fluffy. Beat in the egg and vanilla extract until combined.
- Stir in the dry ingredients until just combined. Fold in walnuts, raisins, almonds, and hazelnuts.
- Drop spoonfuls of dough onto prepared baking sheets about 2 inches apart. Bake for 15 minutes or until golden brown.
- Remove from oven and let cool on baking sheets for 5 minutes before transferring to a wire rack to cool completely.
