Ingredients

  • 4 chicken breasts, boneless and skinless
  • 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon dried basil
  • 1/2 teaspoon dried oregano
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 cup white wine
  • 1 (14.5-ounce) can diced tomatoes
  • 1/4 cup freshly grated Parmesan cheese

Directions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Place chicken breasts in a shallow dish and season with garlic powder, onion powder, basil, oregano, black pepper, and salt. Dredge chicken in flour until lightly coated.
  3. Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add chicken breasts and cook until golden brown, about 3 minutes per side. Transfer chicken to a 9x13-inch baking dish.
  4. Add white wine to the skillet and scrape up any browned bits from the bottom of the pan. Add tomatoes and stir. Simmer for 5 minutes.
  5. Pour tomato mixture over the chicken and top with Parmesan cheese. Bake in preheated oven for 25-30 minutes or until chicken is cooked through.
