Ingredients
- 1/2 cup almonds
- 1/2 cup rolled oats
- 1/3 cup honey
- 1/4 teaspoon ground cinnamon
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 cup dates, pitted and chopped
- 3 ounces dark chocolate, chopped
Directions
- Preheat oven to 350°F. Line an 8x8 baking pan with parchment paper or foil, set aside.
- Spread almonds and oats on a baking sheet and bake for 8 to 10 minutes until lightly toasted. Transfer to a bowl and add the honey, cinnamon, and salt. Stir until combined.
- Stir in the dates and chopped chocolate. Spread the mixture in the prepared pan and press down firmly with a spatula or your hands to make an even layer.
- Bake for 15 to 20 minutes until golden brown. Let cool completely before cutting into bars.
