Ingredients

  • 2 Tilapia fillets
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • 1 teaspoon ground cumin
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 2 pocket breads
  • 1/2 cup sliced cucumber
  • 1/2 cup sliced red onion
  • 1/2 cup halved cherry tomatoes
  • 1/2 cup shredded lettuce
  • 1/4 cup crumbled feta cheese
  • 1/4 cup Greek yogurt
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice
  • 1 tablespoon chopped fresh dill

Directions

  1. In a bowl, mix together the olive oil, garlic powder, paprika, cumin, salt, and pepper.
  2. Add the Tilapia fillets to the mixture and coat them evenly. Let them marinade for 10 minutes.
  3. Heat a grill pan over medium-high heat. Grill the fillets for 3-4 minutes per side, or until cooked through.
  4. To assemble the pitas, split each pocket bread in half and stuff with the grilled Tilapia, cucumber, red onion, tomatoes, lettuce, feta cheese, Greek yogurt, lemon juice, and dill.
  5. Serve immediately.
