- 1 onion, diced

- 1 celery stalk, diced
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 cup beef broth
- 1/2 teaspoon dried oregano

- 1/2 teaspoon dried basil
- 1/2 teaspoon ground black pepper
- 1/4 teaspoon red pepper flakes
- 1 pound beef stew meat, cut into cubes
- 1 cup potatoes, diced
- 1/2 cup frozen peas
- 1/4 cup tomato paste
- 1/4 cup red wine (optional)
Directions
- Heat the oil in the thermos bottle. Add the onion, carrot, celery, and garlic. Cook for 3 minutes, stirring occasionally.
- Add the beef broth, oregano, thyme, basil, black pepper, and red pepper flakes. Stir to combine.
- Add the beef cubes and potatoes. Stir to combine. Cook for 15 minutes, stirring occasionally.
- Add the peas, tomato paste, and red wine (if using). Stir to combine. Cook for 10 minutes, stirring occasionally.
