Ingredients
1 pound ground beef
1/4 cup Italian-style bread crumbs
1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
1/4 cup minced onion
2 cloves garlic, minced
1/2 teaspoon dried oregano
1/2 teaspoon dried basil
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon black pepper
1/4 cup ketchup
1 egg, lightly beaten
Directions
Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
In a large bowl, combine ground beef, bread crumbs, Parmesan cheese, onion, garlic, oregano, basil, salt, and pepper.
Mix together with your hands until evenly combined.
Add ketchup and egg, and mix until evenly blended.
Shape the mixture into a loaf and place in a greased 9×5 inch loaf pan.
Bake for 45 minutes, or until the internal temperature reaches 160°F (70°C).
Let the meatloaf rest for 10 minutes before serving.
