Ingredients
2 cups fresh strawberries, hulled and diced
1 cup white vinegar
1/4 cup granulated sugar
Directions
In a medium saucepan, combine the diced strawberries, vinegar, and sugar.
Bring the mixture to a boil over medium heat, stirring occasionally.
Reduce the heat to low and simmer for 10 minutes, stirring occasionally.
Remove from heat and let cool for 15 minutes.
Strain the mixture through a fine-mesh sieve, pressing down on the solids to extract as much liquid as possible.
Discard the solids and transfer the liquid to a clean container. Cover and store in the refrigerator for up to 2 weeks.
