Ingredients
- 1/2 cup butter, melted
- 1 cup packed brown sugar
- 1 egg
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 1/2 teaspoon baking powder
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
Directions
- Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). Grease a 9x13 inch baking pan.
- In a medium bowl, mix together the melted butter and brown sugar until smooth. Beat in the egg and vanilla extract.
- In another bowl, combine the flour, baking powder, and salt. Gradually stir the dry ingredients into the butter mixture until blended.
- Stir in the chocolate chips. Spread the batter into the prepared pan.
- Bake for 25 to 30 minutes in the preheated oven, or until golden brown. Allow to cool before cutting into bars.
