Ingredients
- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 teaspoon sugar
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon baking powder
- 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
- ½ teaspoon garlic powder
- 2 tablespoons butter, melted
- 1 egg
- 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- ½ cup chopped fresh herbs (such as parsley, basil, oregano)
- ¾ cup warm water
Directions
- Preheat oven to 375 degrees F (190 degrees C). Grease a 9x5 inch loaf pan.
- In a large bowl, mix together the flour, sugar, salt, baking powder, Italian seasoning, and garlic powder. Stir in the melted butter, egg, Parmesan cheese, and chopped fresh herbs.
- Gradually stir in the warm water until a soft dough forms. Turn the dough out onto a lightly floured surface and knead for a few minutes until smooth.
- Place the dough in the prepared loaf pan and bake in the preheated oven for 30 minutes, or until golden brown.
- Remove from the oven and let cool in the pan for a few minutes before turning out onto a wire rack to cool completely.
