Ingredients

  • 4 slices Italian bread
  • 4 slices Pancetta
  • 4 slices Fresh Mozzarella
  • 4 teaspoons Extra Virgin Olive Oil
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Directions

  1. Preheat a panini press or a large skillet over medium heat.
  2. Brush one side of each slice of bread with olive oil. Place two slices of bread on the panini press or skillet, oiled-side down.
  3. Top each slice of bread with a slice of pancetta and a slice of mozzarella. Sprinkle with salt and pepper to taste.
  4. Top the mozzarella with the remaining two slices of bread oiled-side up. Grill the sandwiches for 4-5 minutes, or until the bread is golden brown and the cheese is melted.
  5. Serve immediately.
