Ingredients

  • 2-3 pounds of chicken wings
  • 2 tablespoons of olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon of garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon of onion powder
  • 1 teaspoon of smoked paprika
  • 1 teaspoon of dried oregano
  • 2 tablespoons of brown sugar
  • 1/2 cup of ketchup
  • 1/4 cup of apple cider vinegar
  • 2 tablespoons of Worcestershire sauce
  • 1/4 cup of soy sauce
  • 1/4 cup of honey
  • 2 tablespoons of Dijon mustard

Directions

  1. Preheat the oven to 375 degrees Fahrenheit.
  2. In a large bowl, combine the olive oil, garlic powder, onion powder, smoked paprika, and oregano. Add the chicken wings and toss until evenly coated.
  3. Place the chicken wings onto a baking sheet lined with parchment paper. Bake for 25-30 minutes, or until the wings are cooked through and golden brown.
  4. Meanwhile, make the barbecue sauce. In a medium saucepan, combine the ketchup, apple cider vinegar, Worcestershire sauce, soy sauce, brown sugar, honey, and Dijon mustard. Whisk until evenly combined.
  5. Bring the sauce to a boil, then reduce the heat and simmer for 10 minutes, stirring occasionally.
  6. When the wings are done baking, brush them with the barbecue sauce and return to the oven. Bake for an additional 10 minutes.
  7. Remove the wings from the oven and serve with the extra barbecue sauce.
