Ingredients
- 1/2 cup butter, softened
- 1/2 cup tahini
- 1/2 cup light brown sugar
- 1/4 cup granulated sugar
- 1 large egg
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 1/4 cups all-purpose flour
- 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
Directions
- Preheat oven to 350°F. Line two baking sheets with parchment paper.
- In a medium bowl, cream together the butter, tahini, brown sugar and granulated sugar until light and fluffy.
- Add the egg and vanilla extract and mix until well combined.
- In a separate bowl, whisk together the flour, baking soda and salt.
- Slowly add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients and mix until just combined.
- Fold in the chocolate chips.
- Scoop the dough onto the prepared baking sheets and bake for 10-12 minutes, or until the edges are lightly browned.
- Allow the cookies to cool on the baking sheets for 5 minutes before transferring to a wire rack to cool completely.
