Ingredients
- 4 large eggs
- 2 tablespoons mayonnaise
- 1 teaspoon Dijon mustard
- 2 tablespoons chopped fresh dill
- 1/4 teaspoon sea salt
- 1/4 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper
- 4 slices of whole grain bread
- 2 tablespoons butter, melted
Directions
- In a medium saucepan, bring the eggs to a boil over medium-high heat.
- Reduce the heat and simmer for 10 minutes.
- Drain the eggs and run them under cold water until cool.
- Peel the eggs and place in a medium bowl.
- Mash the eggs with a fork.
- Add the mayonnaise, mustard, dill, salt, and pepper, and mix to combine.
- Butter one side of each slice of bread.
- Divide the egg salad between two slices of bread and top with the remaining slices.
- Cut in half and serve.
