Ingredients
- 3 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- 1 teaspoon baking powder
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 cup butter, melted
- 1 cup white sugar
- 2 large eggs
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 cup milk
- 2 cups peeled and chopped apples
Directions
- Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). Grease and flour a 9x5 inch loaf pan.
- In a medium bowl, mix together flour, baking soda, baking powder, and salt. Set aside.
- In a large bowl, mix together butter and sugar until light and fluffy. Beat in eggs one at a time, then stir in vanilla. Beat in the flour mixture alternately with the milk. Fold in the apples.
- Pour batter into prepared loaf pan. Bake for 50 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center of the loaf comes out clean.
- Let bread cool in pan for 10 minutes, then turn out onto a wire rack.
