Dipping Sauce for Artichokes

Ingredients

• 1/4 cup mayonnaise
• 2 tablespoons sour cream
• 2 tablespoons Dijon mustard
• 1 tablespoon fresh lemon juice
• 1 tablespoon chopped fresh herbs (parsley, chives, or tarragon)
• 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
• Salt and pepper, to taste

Directions

1. In a medium bowl, whisk together the mayonnaise, sour cream, mustard, lemon juice, herbs, garlic powder, salt and pepper.
2. Taste and adjust seasoning if desired.
3. Serve immediately with artichokes or store in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.

Interesting Facts

• This dipping sauce is also great with vegetables and chips.
• Adding a tablespoon of hot sauce or a teaspoon of horseradish can give the sauce a nice kick.
