Ingredients
- 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
- 1/2 cup soy sauce
- 1/4 cup honey
- 2 tablespoons sriracha sauce
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tablespoon ginger, grated
- 1 tablespoon vegetable oil
- 1 tablespoon cornstarch
- 1/4 cup water
- Green onions, chopped (for garnish)
- Sesame seeds (for garnish)
Directions
- In a bowl, whisk together soy sauce, honey, sriracha sauce, minced garlic, grated ginger, vegetable oil, cornstarch, and water.
- Place the chicken breasts in a ziplock bag and pour the marinade over them. Seal the bag and marinate in the fridge for at least 30 minutes, or up to 24 hours for maximum flavor.

- Heat a large oven-safe skillet over medium-high heat. Remove the chicken breasts from the marinade, reserving the marinade for later. Sear the chicken breasts in the hot skillet for 2-3 minutes per side until they are golden brown.
- Pour the remaining marinade into the skillet and transfer it to the preheated oven. Bake the chicken for 15-20 minutes, or until it reaches an internal temperature of 165°F (74°C).
- Remove the skillet from the oven and let the chicken rest for a few minutes before slicing.
- Serve the sliced chicken over rice or noodles, drizzle some of the sauce from the skillet over the top, and garnish with chopped green onions and sesame seeds.
