Serve this flavorful pork tenderloin over rice or noodles for a complete and satisfying meal.

Ingredients

  • 2 pork tenderloins (about 1 pound each)
  • 1/4 cup soy sauce
  • 2 tablespoons hoisin sauce
  • 2 tablespoons honey
  • 1 tablespoon rice vinegar
  • 1 tablespoon minced ginger
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon Sriracha sauce (adjust to taste)
  • 1/2 teaspoon Chinese five spice powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/4 cup water
  • 1 tablespoon cornstarch
  • 1 tablespoon water

Directions

  1. Trim any excess fat from the pork tenderloins and set aside.
  2. In a small bowl, whisk together soy sauce, hoisin sauce, honey, rice vinegar, ginger, garlic, Sriracha sauce, Chinese five spice powder, salt, and black pepper.
  3. Place the pork tenderloins in the Instant Pot and pour the marinade over the top. Close the lid and set the valve to the sealing position.
  4. Press the "Pressure Cook" or "Manual" button, and set the time to 15 minutes on high pressure.
  5. Once the cooking time is complete, allow the pressure to release naturally for 10 minutes, then perform a quick release to release any remaining pressure.
  6. Remove the pork tenderloins from the Instant Pot and set aside to rest.
  7. In a small bowl, whisk together cornstarch and water to make a slurry. Set aside.
  8. Press the "Saute" button on the Instant Pot and add the water to the cooking liquid. Stir in the cornstarch slurry and cook until the sauce thickens, about 2-3 minutes.
  9. Slice the pork tenderloins into medallions and serve with the thickened sauce.
  10. Optional: Garnish with chopped green onions and sesame seeds for added flavor and presentation.
