4 chicken pork chops, pounded to 1/2 inch thickness
1/2 cup all-purpose flour
2 tablespoons of butter
1/2 cup chicken broth
1/2 cup heavy cream
1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
1/4 teaspoon ground black pepper
1/4 teaspoon salt
1/4 cup freshly grated Parmesan cheese
1/4 cup chopped fresh parsley
Directions
Preheat oven to 350°F.
In a shallow dish, mix together the flour and garlic powder.
Coat the chicken pork chops in the flour mixture.
In a large oven-proof skillet over medium heat, melt the butter. Add the pork chops and cook until golden brown, about 4 minutes per side.
Transfer the skillet to the preheated oven and bake for 10 minutes.
Meanwhile, in a medium saucepan over medium heat, combine the chicken broth, cream, salt and pepper. Bring to a boil, then reduce heat and simmer for 5 minutes.
Remove the pork chops from the oven and pour the sauce over them. Sprinkle with Parmesan cheese and parsley. Return to the oven and bake for an additional 10 minutes.
Serve the pork chops with the creamy sauce.
