Ingredients

  • 1 pound white button mushrooms
  • 1/2 cup minced onion
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 1/2 teaspoon dried oregano
  • 1/4 teaspoon dried thyme
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper
  • 1/4 cup dry white wine
  • 1/4 cup dry bread crumbs
  • 1/4 cup freshly grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 cup shredded Swiss cheese

Directions

  1. Preheat the oven to 375 degrees F (190 degrees C). Grease a baking dish.
  2. Clean the mushrooms and remove the stems. Chop the stems and set aside.
  3. In a skillet over medium heat, cook the onion and garlic in the butter for 5 minutes, or until softened. Add the chopped mushroom stems, oregano, thyme, salt, and pepper. Cook for 5 minutes more.
  4. Add the wine to the pan and cook for an additional 5 minutes. Remove from heat and stir in the bread crumbs, Parmesan cheese, and Swiss cheese.
