Ingredients

  • 1 pound steak, cut into thin strips
  • 1 cup shredded cheese
  • 1/4 cup salsa
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon chili powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon cumin
  • Salt and pepper, to taste
  • 8-10 small flour tortillas

Directions

  1. In a bowl, combine steak strips, cheese, salsa, olive oil, garlic powder, chili powder, cumin, salt, and pepper. Mix until everything is combined.
  2. Heat a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add steak mixture and cook for about 5 minutes, stirring often.
  3. Lay a tortilla on a flat surface. Place about 2 tablespoons of the steak mixture in the center of the tortilla. Roll up the tortilla and secure with a toothpick.
  4. Repeat with remaining tortillas and steak mixture.
  5. Heat the same skillet over medium-high heat. Add the flautas and cook for about 3 minutes on each side, or until golden brown and crispy.
  6. Serve with your favorite sides and enjoy!
