Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup pumpkin puree
  • 1/2 cup light brown sugar
  • 1/4 cup butter, melted
  • 1/4 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 1/8 teaspoon ground nutmeg
  • 1/8 teaspoon ground cloves
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground ginger
  • 1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
  • 1/2 cup chopped walnuts or pecans

Directions

  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). Grease an 8-inch square baking pan.
  2. In a medium bowl, mix together the pumpkin puree, brown sugar, melted butter, cinnamon, nutmeg, cloves, and ginger until smooth.
  3. Stir in the chocolate chips and nuts until combined.
  4. Spread the mixture evenly into the prepared pan and bake for 30 minutes or until slightly firm.
  5. Allow the fudge to cool before cutting into squares.
