Ingredients
1/2 cup pumpkin puree
1/2 cup light brown sugar
1/4 cup butter, melted

Directions
Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). Grease an 8-inch square baking pan.
In a medium bowl, mix together the pumpkin puree, brown sugar, melted butter, cinnamon, nutmeg, cloves, and ginger until smooth.
Stir in the chocolate chips and nuts until combined.
Spread the mixture evenly into the prepared pan and bake for 30 minutes or until slightly firm.
Allow the fudge to cool before cutting into squares.

Pumpkin puree can be substituted with other types of squash such as butternut or acorn.
Semi-sweet chocolate chips can be substituted with milk or dark chocolate chips.
