Ingredients
- 1 lb chorizo sausage, sliced
- 1 onion, chopped
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 4 cups chicken broth
- 1 lb kale, stems removed and chopped
- 1 cup heavy cream
- Salt and pepper, to taste
Directions
- In a large pot, cook the chorizo over medium heat until browned. Remove the chorizo and set aside.
- In the same pot, sauté the onion and garlic until tender.
- Add the chicken broth and bring to a simmer.
- Stir in the kale and simmer for about 10 minutes until the kale is tender.
- Add the cooked chorizo back to the pot.
