- 2 lbs chicken thighs, bone-in and skin-on

Directions
- Preheat the oven to 400 degrees F (200 degrees C).
- In a small bowl, mix together salt, paprika, black pepper, dried oregano, dried thyme, dried basil, and cayenne pepper.
- Pat dry the chicken thighs with a paper towel and season them with the spice mixture on both sides.
- Heat olive oil in a large oven-safe skillet over medium-high heat.
- Place the chicken thighs in the skillet, skin-side down, and cook for about 5 minutes or until golden brown and crispy.
- Flip the chicken thighs and transfer the skillet to the preheated oven. Bake for about 20-25 minutes or until the internal temperature reaches 165 degrees F (74 degrees C).
