Ingredients

  • 2-3 pound moose roast
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 cup beef broth
  • 2 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Directions

  1. In a small bowl, mix together the garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, salt, and pepper. Rub the mixture into the moose roast.
  2. Heat the olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add the moose roast to the skillet and brown on all sides, about 3-4 minutes per side.
  3. Place the moose roast in the slow cooker. Pour the beef broth and Worcestershire sauce over the roast.
  4. Sprinkle with the Italian seasoning. Cover and cook on low for 6 hours.
  5. Remove the roast from the slow cooker and let rest for 10 minutes before slicing.
