Ingredients

  • 1 pound elbow macaroni
  • 4 cups shredded sharp cheddar cheese
  • 2 cups milk
  • 1/4 cup butter
  • 2 tablespoons flour
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground black pepper

Directions

  1. Lightly spray a slow cooker with non-stick cooking spray.
  2. Add the macaroni, cheese, milk, butter, flour, salt and pepper to the slow cooker and stir to combine.
  3. Cover and cook on low for 3-4 hours, stirring every hour, until the cheese is melted and the macaroni is cooked through.
  4. If the macaroni is not cooked through after 4 hours, stir in a bit more milk and cook for an additional 30 minutes.
  5. Serve hot.
