Ingredients
- 1 cup popcorn kernels
- 1/4 cup butter
- 1/4 cup corn syrup
- 1/4 cup sugar
- 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- Green food coloring
Directions
- Pour the popcorn kernels into a large saucepan and set over medium heat.
- In a medium saucepan, melt the butter and add the corn syrup and sugar. Stir until the sugar is dissolved.
- Add the baking soda and salt to the sugar mixture and stir until combined.
- Add several drops of green food coloring to the sugar mixture and stir until combined.
- Pour the sugar mixture over the popcorn and stir to combine.
- Continue to stir the popcorn over medium heat until all of the kernels are coated and the mixture is bubbling.
- Remove from heat and pour the popcorn onto a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
- Allow the popcorn to cool and enjoy!
