Ingredients
- 2 lbs steak, cut into 4 pieces
- 1/3 cup olive oil
- 2 tablespoons garlic, minced
- 1 teaspoon oregano
- 1 teaspoon basil
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 1/2 cup red wine
- 1/2 cup balsamic vinegar
- 1/4 cup honey
- 1/4 cup tomato paste
- 2 tablespoons capers
- 1/4 cup chopped fresh parsley
Directions
- In a large bowl, combine the olive oil, garlic, oregano, basil, salt, and black pepper. Add the steak and coat with the marinade. Cover and refrigerate for at least 1 hour.
- In a medium saucepan, combine the red wine, balsamic vinegar, honey, tomato paste, and capers. Bring to a boil and reduce the heat to low. Simmer for 10 minutes, stirring occasionally, until the sauce has thickened.
- Preheat the grill to medium-high heat. Grill the steak for 4-5 minutes per side, or until desired doneness. Serve with the sauce and garnish with parsley.
