Ingredients
- 1 pound of linguine
- 1 tablespoon of olive oil
- 1 pound of shrimp, peeled and deveined
- 1 cup of chopped tomatoes
- 1 teaspoon of garlic, minced
- 1 teaspoon of crushed red pepper flakes
- 1/4 cup of white wine
- 1/4 cup of chopped parsley
- Salt and pepper, to taste
Directions
- Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil.
- Add the linguine and cook until al dente, about 7 minutes.
- Drain the linguine and set aside.
- Heat the olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.
- Add the shrimp and cook until just pink, about 2 minutes per side.
- Add the tomatoes, garlic, and red pepper flakes and cook for another 2 minutes.
- Stir in the white wine and bring to a simmer.
- Add the cooked linguine to the skillet and toss to combine.
- Stir in the parsley and season with salt and pepper, to taste.
- Serve immediately.
