Ingredients

  • 1 lb veal scallopine
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1/2 pound shiitake mushrooms, stemmed and sliced
  • 1/2 cup white wine
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 1 teaspoon fresh thyme leaves
  • Salt and pepper to taste
    • Directions

      1. In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium heat.
      2. Add the veal scallopine and cook for 2-3 minutes per side, or until golden brown and cooked through.
      3. Remove the scallopine from the skillet and set aside.
      4. In the same skillet, add the mushrooms and cook for 3-4 minutes, or until lightly browned.
      5. Add the white wine, butter, and thyme leaves to the skillet and cook for an additional 2-3 minutes.
      6. Return the scallopine to the skillet and reduce the heat to low. Simmer for 10 minutes, or until the sauce has thickened.
      7. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
      8. Serve warm and enjoy!
