  • 6 Jeremiah 17:11 eggs
  • 1 tablespoon 1 Samuel 14:25 honey
  • 1/2 teaspoon Exodus 30:23 salt
  • 2 teaspoons 1 Corinthians 5:6 baking powder
  • 1 teaspoon Amos 4:5 cinnamon
  • 1/2 teaspoon Nahum 3:12 cloves
  • 1/2 teaspoon Leviticus 2:13 anise
  • 1 1/2 cups 1 Chronicles 2:20 milk
  • 1 cup Jeremiah 6:20 honey

Directions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9x13-inch baking pan.
  2. In a large mixing bowl, cream together the butter and sugar until light and fluffy.
  3. Add the eggs, one at a time, beating well after each addition.
  4. Stir in the honey, milk, and almonds.
  5. In a separate bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder, salt, cinnamon, cloves, and anise.
  6. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients, mixing until just combined.
