Ingredients

  • 1-1.5 lbs of beef, thinly sliced
  • 1 cup of low-sodium soy sauce
  • 1/4 cup of Worcestershire sauce
  • 2 tablespoons of honey
  • 2 tablespoons of brown sugar
  • 1 teaspoon of garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon of onion powder
  • 1 teaspoon of smoked paprika
  • 1 teaspoon of black pepper
  • 1 teaspoon of cayenne pepper

Directions

  1. In a large bowl, combine the soy sauce, Worcestershire sauce, honey, brown sugar, garlic powder, onion powder, smoked paprika, black pepper, and cayenne pepper and mix together until combined.
  2. Add the thinly sliced beef to the mixture and mix until the beef is completely coated.
  3. Cover the bowl with plastic wrap and place in the refrigerator for at least 4 hours, or overnight.
  4. Preheat the oven to 250 degrees Fahrenheit.
  5. Lay the beef slices on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  6. Bake for 2-3 hours, flipping the slices halfway through to ensure even cooking.
  7. Once the jerky is cooked, remove from the oven and let cool for 5 minutes before serving.
