Ingredients
1 cup of wheat bran
1 cup of all-purpose flour
1/4 cup of white sugar
1 teaspoon of baking soda
1/4 teaspoon of salt

Directions
Preheat the oven to 375 degrees Fahrenheit.
Combine the wheat bran, flour, sugar, baking soda, salt, and cinnamon in a large bowl and mix until thoroughly combined.
In a separate bowl, mix together the applesauce, honey, oil, and egg until blended.
Pour the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients and mix until just combined. Do not overmix.
Spoon the batter into greased or paper-lined muffin tins, filling each cup about 3/4 full.
Bake for 20-25 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the middle of a muffin comes out clean.
Cool on a wire rack before serving.
