Ingredients

  • 1 lb. chicken livers, trimmed and halved
  • 2 cups bread crumbs
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 tablespoons fresh parsley, chopped
  • 2 tablespoons fresh thyme, chopped
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon pepper
  • 1/2 cup butter, melted

Directions

  1. Preheat oven to 375 degrees F.
  2. In a shallow bowl, mix together bread crumbs, garlic, parsley, thyme, salt, and pepper.
  3. Dip chicken livers into melted butter, then into bread crumb mixture, coating both sides.
  4. Place chicken livers onto a greased baking sheet.
  5. Bake in preheated oven for 15 minutes, or until chicken livers are cooked through.
