Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). Grease a baking sheet.
In a medium bowl, mix together the flour, baking powder, salt, butter, and sugar until crumbly. Add the beaten egg and milk and mix until a soft dough forms.
On a lightly floured surface, roll out the dough to 1/8 inch thickness. Cut into 2-inch circles (or any desired shape). Place 1 teaspoon of the ricotta cheese, almond paste, cranberries, and almonds in the center of each circle.
Fold the circles in half and press the edges together with a fork to seal. Place on the prepared baking sheet.
Bake for 20 minutes, or until golden brown. Sprinkle with confectioners’ sugar before serving.
