Ingredients
- 1 cup butter, softened
- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1/2 cup confectioners' sugar
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1 (8 ounce) package cream cheese, softened
- 1 cup white sugar
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 (15 ounce) can raspberry pie filling
- 1/2 cup confectioners' sugar
- 1/4 teaspoon almond extract
Directions
- Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). Grease a 9x13 inch baking dish.
- In a medium bowl, cream together the butter, 2 cups flour, 1/2 cup confectioners' sugar and salt. Press into the prepared baking dish.
- Bake for 18 to 20 minutes in the preheated oven, or until lightly browned. Cool.
- In a medium bowl, cream together the cream cheese, white sugar and vanilla until smooth. Spread over the cooled crust.
- Spread raspberry pie filling over cream cheese layer.
- In a small bowl, combine 1/2 cup confectioners' sugar and almond extract. Sprinkle over raspberry layer.
- Bake for 25 to 30 minutes in the preheated oven, or until topping is golden brown.
- Cool before cutting into bars.
