Ingredients
- 1/2 pound bacon, diced
- 1 onion, diced
- 2 bell peppers, diced
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tablespoon Cajun seasoning
- 1/2 cup white wine
- 1 (14.5 ounce) can diced tomatoes
- 1/2 cup heavy cream
- 1/2 pound spaghetti
- Salt and pepper, to taste
- Parsley, for garnish
Directions
- Heat a large pot over medium-high heat. Add bacon and cook until crispy, about 5 minutes. Remove from pot and set aside.
- Add onion and peppers to the pot and cook for 5 minutes. Add garlic and Cajun seasoning and cook for 1 minute more.
- Add white wine and scrape up any brown bits from the bottom of the pot. Add tomatoes and cream and stir to combine. Bring to a simmer.
- Add spaghetti to the pot and cook for 8-10 minutes, stirring occasionally, until pasta is cooked through. Reduce heat to low and add bacon back to the pot.
- Taste and season with salt and pepper, if needed. Serve with parsley, if desired.
