Ingredients

  • 1 pre-made 9-inch deep-dish pie crust
  • 4 large apples, peeled, cored, and thinly sliced
  • 1/2 cup light brown sugar
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 1/4 teaspoon freshly grated nutmeg
  • 1/4 teaspoon ground ginger
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 2 tablespoons butter, melted
  • 1/2 cup caramel sauce

Directions

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F.
  2. In a large bowl, combine the apples, brown sugar, cinnamon, nutmeg, ginger, and salt. Toss to combine.
  3. Pour the mixture into the prepared pie crust and spread evenly.
  4. Drizzle the melted butter over the apples.
  5. Bake for 25 minutes.
  6. Remove from oven and drizzle the caramel sauce over the top.
  7. Bake for an additional 10-15 minutes, until the apples are tender and the crust is golden brown.
  8. Allow to cool before serving.
