Ingredients

  • 1 cup white sugar
  • 2 cups diced rhubarb
  • 1/2 cup white vinegar
  • 1/2 cup raisins
  • 1 teaspoon ground ginger
  • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground cloves
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt

Directions

  1. In a medium saucepan over medium heat, combine the sugar, rhubarb, vinegar, raisins, ginger, cinnamon, cloves, and salt. Bring to a boil, stirring occasionally.
  2. Reduce heat and simmer for 10 minutes, stirring occasionally, until the rhubarb is softened and the mixture thickens.
  3. Remove from heat and let cool before serving or storing.
