Ingredients
- 2 pounds pork tenderloin
- 2 tablespoons butter
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 cup bourbon
- 1/2 cup beef broth
- 1/4 cup brown sugar
- 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
- 1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
- 1/2 teaspoon ground nutmeg
- 1/4 teaspoon ground cayenne pepper
- Salt and pepper to taste
Directions
- Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
- In a large skillet, melt the butter over medium-high heat. Add the pork tenderloin and garlic, and cook for 5 minutes, stirring often, until the pork is lightly browned.
- In a medium bowl, whisk together the bourbon, beef broth, brown sugar, Worcestershire sauce, cinnamon, nutmeg, and cayenne pepper. Pour the mixture into the skillet and bring to a boil. Reduce heat to low and simmer for 5 minutes.
- Transfer the skillet to the preheated oven and bake for 25 minutes, or until the pork is cooked through and the sauce is reduced and thickened.
- Remove from oven and let stand for 5 minutes before serving.
