Ingredients

  • 2 pounds pork tenderloin
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 cup bourbon
  • 1/2 cup beef broth
  • 1/4 cup brown sugar
  • 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground nutmeg
  • 1/4 teaspoon ground cayenne pepper
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Directions

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. In a large skillet, melt the butter over medium-high heat. Add the pork tenderloin and garlic, and cook for 5 minutes, stirring often, until the pork is lightly browned.
  3. In a medium bowl, whisk together the bourbon, beef broth, brown sugar, Worcestershire sauce, cinnamon, nutmeg, and cayenne pepper. Pour the mixture into the skillet and bring to a boil. Reduce heat to low and simmer for 5 minutes.
  4. Transfer the skillet to the preheated oven and bake for 25 minutes, or until the pork is cooked through and the sauce is reduced and thickened.
  5. Remove from oven and let stand for 5 minutes before serving.
