Ingredients
- 1 lb. ground beef
- 1/2 cup uncooked white rice
- 1/2 cup water
- 1/4 cup onion, finely chopped
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
- 1/4 cup ketchup
- 1 (14.5 oz) can diced tomatoes, undrained
- 1 (8 oz) can tomato sauce
- 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
- 2 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce
- 2 tablespoons brown sugar
Directions
- In a medium bowl, combine ground beef, rice, water, onion, garlic powder, salt and pepper. Form into 12 meatballs.
- In a medium skillet over medium heat, cook meatballs, turning occasionally, until browned and cooked through, about 10 minutes.
- Stir in ketchup, tomatoes, tomato sauce, Italian seasoning, Worcestershire sauce and brown sugar. Simmer 10 minutes, stirring occasionally.
- Serve over pasta, rice or mashed potatoes.
