Pigs in a Blanket Casserole

Ingredients

  • 1 package crescent rolls
  • 1 pound breakfast sausage
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 2 tablespoons fresh parsley, chopped
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon onion powder
  • Salt and pepper, to taste

Directions

  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.
  2. In a large skillet over medium heat, cook breakfast sausage until browned and cooked through. Drain excess fat.
  3. In a 9x13 inch baking dish, spread out 1 can of crescent rolls, pressing seams together to form a single layer.
  4. Sprinkle cooked sausage over crescent rolls and top with cheddar cheese.
  5. Sprinkle parsley, garlic powder, onion powder, salt and pepper over the cheese.
  6. Spread second can of crescent rolls over the top, pressing seams together to form a single layer.
  7. Bake for 25-30 minutes, or until golden brown.
  8. Allow to cool for 10 minutes before serving.
