Ingredients
2 tablespoons olive oil
1 large onion, diced
3 cloves garlic, minced
1 teaspoon ground cumin
1 teaspoon ground coriander
1 teaspoon ground cinnamon

2 pears, diced

1 cup dried figs
1/2 cup prunes
2 cups vegetable broth
Salt and pepper, to taste
Directions
Heat the olive oil in a large tagine or Dutch oven over medium heat.
Add the onion and garlic and cook, stirring occasionally, until softened, about 5 minutes.
Add the cumin, coriander, cinnamon, and ginger and cook, stirring, for 1 minute.
Add the pears, dried apricots, figs, and prunes and cook, stirring, for 2 minutes.
Pour in the vegetable broth and bring to a boil.
Reduce the heat to low and simmer, stirring occasionally, until the fruit is softened, about 20 minutes.
Season with salt and pepper, to taste.
Serve warm.
