- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 1 teaspoon baking powder
- 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
- 3/4 cup granulated sugar
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 cup butter, softened
- 2 eggs

- 1/2 cup buttermilk
Directions
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9-inch round cake pan.
- In a medium bowl, whisk together flour, baking powder, baking soda, sugar and salt.
- In a large bowl, cream together butter and eggs until light and fluffy. Add peanut butter and vanilla extract and mix until combined.
- Add the dry ingredients and mix until just combined. Add the buttermilk and mix until smooth.
- Pour the batter into the prepared pan and bake for 25-30 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
- Let the cake cool in the pan for 10 minutes before turning out onto a wire rack to cool completely.
