Ingredients
1/2 cup softened butter
1/2 cup sugar
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1 cup all-purpose flour
1 cup quick-cooking oats

Directions
Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a baking sheet with butter and set aside.
In a large bowl, cream together the butter and sugar using an electric mixer until light and fluffy.
