Ingredients
1 pound fresh green beans, trimmed and cut into 1-inch pieces
2 tablespoons extra-virgin olive oil
3 cloves garlic, minced
3 anchovy fillets, minced
Salt and freshly ground black pepper, to taste
Directions
Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil over high heat.
Add the green beans and cook until tender, about 5 minutes.
Drain the green beans and set aside.
In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium heat.
Add the garlic and anchovies and cook, stirring frequently, until the anchovies have broken down and the garlic is fragrant, about 2 minutes.
Add the cooked green beans to the skillet and toss to combine.
Season with salt and pepper, to taste.
Serve immediately.
