- 1 cup creamy peanut butter
- 1 cup light brown sugar
- 1 large egg

- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a medium bowl, cream together peanut butter and brown sugar until light and fluffy. Beat in egg and vanilla extract until well combined.

- Scoop dough into 1-inch balls and place on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper. Flatten each ball with a fork, forming a crosshatch design.
