Ingredients

  • 1 lb. ground beef
  • 1 cup bread crumbs
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 1/2 cup finely chopped onion
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon ground black pepper
  • 1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 2 eggs
  • 1/2 cup ketchup
  • 1/4 cup sour cream

Directions

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F.
  2. In a medium bowl, combine ground beef, bread crumbs, milk, onion, salt, pepper, garlic powder, and eggs. Mix until blended.
  3. Place mixture in a lightly greased 9x5 inch loaf pan and shape into a loaf.
  4. Bake for 45 minutes.
  5. In a small bowl, combine ketchup and sour cream. Spread over top of meatloaf.
  6. Bake an additional 15 minutes, or until the internal temperature reaches 160°F.
  7. Let cool for 10 minutes before slicing and serving.
