Ingredients
3 large onions, thinly sliced
3 tablespoons butter
1/4 cup white wine
2 tablespoons chopped fresh thyme
2 tablespoons chopped fresh rosemary
1 teaspoon salt

Directions
Preheat oven to 375 degrees F (190 degrees C).
Melt butter in a large skillet over medium heat. Add onions, and cook until browned and softened, about 10 minutes.
Add wine, thyme, rosemary, salt, and pepper. Cook, stirring occasionally, until liquid is evaporated, about 5 minutes.
Transfer onion mixture to a greased 9x13 inch baking dish.
Bake in preheated oven until golden brown, about 20 minutes.
