Ingredients

  • 1/4 cup olive oil
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1/2 teaspoon red pepper flakes
  • 2 bunches broccoli rabe, chopped
  • 1/2 cup chicken broth
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese

Directions

  1. Heat the oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add the garlic and red pepper flakes and cook for 1 minute.
  2. Add the broccoli rabe and cook, stirring often, for 5 minutes.
  3. Add the chicken broth and season with salt and pepper. Bring to a simmer and cook for 5 minutes.
  4. Reduce the heat to low, cover, and cook for 10 minutes.
  5. Uncover, increase the heat to medium-high, and cook for 5 minutes, stirring occasionally.
  6. Stir in the Parmesan cheese and cook for 1 minute.
  7. Serve hot.
