Ingredients

  • 3 tablespoons butter
  • 3 tablespoons all-purpose flour
  • 2 cups whole milk
  • 3/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/4 teaspoon nutmeg
  • 3 cups cooked Maine lobster meat, diced
  • 9 lasagna noodles, cooked according to package directions
  • 1/2 cup grated mozzarella cheese
  • 1/4 cup breadcrumbs

Directions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F.
  2. In a medium saucepan, melt butter over medium heat. Whisk in flour and cook for 1-2 minutes, stirring constantly.
  3. Whisk in milk, Parmesan cheese, salt, pepper, and nutmeg. Continue to whisk until sauce thickens, about 5 minutes.
  4. Stir in lobster meat and remove from heat.
  5. In a greased 9x13 inch baking dish, layer 3 noodles on bottom. Top with a layer of sauce, followed by a layer of mozzarella cheese.
  6. Repeat layers one more time, ending with a layer of noodles.
  7. Sprinkle top of lasagna with breadcrumbs.
  8. Bake for 30-35 minutes, until top is golden brown and sauce is bubbly.
  9. Allow to cool for 10 minutes before serving.
